Tournament Rounds:
The tournament consists of 4 rounds of 50 minutes each (except NMJL(MJMP) – 3 rounds of 1 hour each) with a 10-minute break between rounds.

Registration & Check-in:
Registration closes 30 minutes before the tournament starts. Registered players must check in (log in to the game) 15 minutes before the tournament begins.
If a player is inactive for more than 26 minutes in one round, they may be disqualified and unable to join the next round. Additionally, the entry fee will not be refunded, and their GMTR standings will show 0 points for that tournament style.
Scoring:
At the end of each round, players earn "table points" based on their score:
- Highest score: 4 pts
- 2nd highest score: 2 pts
- 3rd highest score: 1 pt
- Lowest score: 0 pt
If two or more players tie for a position, they equally share the combined points. For example, two players tied for last place will each receive 0.5 points (half of 1 + 0).
Final tournament rankings are determined by table points. In case of a tie, the highest overall score breaks the tie. If overall scores are also tied, the player who won more hands ranks higher.
Fees:
The tournament entry fee is 500 Golden Coins ($5). Mahjong Phili subscribers/members receive 400 Golden Coins back after completing the tournament.
Age Requirement: All players must be of legal age in their jurisdiction or at least 21 years old (whichever is greater). Players under this age are not permitted to participate. A valid Mahjong Phili membership is required at registration.
